To those who have stumbled this far, hello! I am Carrie Pierce, a new and developing author. I live in a small town in California. The Placerville, El Dorado, area that has rich history, kind people, and even better food. By nature, I'm quiet and calm, which is the opposite of the characters that I create. Overall, everything about me is simple. I love to create and share stories of strength, development, and the ability to beat the odds.
Most of the time, if I'm not working, I'm writing.
My Story
Growing up in a small town means more work and more people know your name. Being a creator, being surrounded by nature is a pleasure. It offers calm. It gives me a chance to breathe when the chaos closes in.
My story, it's simple. I didn't grow up writing marvelous tales, I kind of sucked at it. But, that didn't stop me. And it shouldn't stop you either! I worked, and worked, and worked some more to get my writing to a neater, cleaner, and more plotted piece of literature.
I'm always seeking new books to read, trying new cooking/baking recipes, and television/films to watch. Let me know what catches your fancy, because I wanna get to know my readers.
